Retiring Stoke City striker Michael Owen is planning for a coaching career.

He is already doing his coaching badges and now fancies a move into either management or the media.

Owen said: "I want to stay in football. My expertise is in football. There are a few options - management, the media and other bits and bobs.

"I don't know about management yet. I've done my first few badges. But it could be very stressful too and I haven't decided anything yet."
