Stoke City striker Peter Odemwingie has dubbed teammate Peter Crouch a "legend".

Both were on the scoresheet for the 2-2 draw at Southampton on Saturday.

Odemwingie said of his giant strike partner: "He is a very strong player and I know playing off him is a blessing for me.

"When you are on the wing you know if you put in a cross he will score and your name gets an assist. It is really great.

"He is a legendary player and I am really pleased to catch a few years with him in my career as he is one of the most famous players in the country and the world."
