Stoke striker Joselu apologises to Deportivo La Coruna teammates after strop

Stoke City striker Joselu has apologised to Deportivo La Coruna teammates after a meltdown last weekend.

Joselu, aware of jeers during the clash with Malaga, cupped his ear towards fans after he had scored.

Depor coach Pepe Mel immediately hooked the striker, who protested the decision when coming off and sitting on the bench.

However, on Tuesday, Joselu apologised to teammates at training for his actions.

Alex Bergantiños revealed: "We have talked in the locker room and he has apologised, we will try to correct that kind of attitude, he is the first to apologise, he acknowledges that he was wrong at the moment and are things that have happened thousands of times in football, but are unpleasant and had to be corrected."
