Stoke striker Crouch not giving up on England career

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch refuses to accept his England career is over.

Crouch has hit 22 goals in 42 internationals but admits it's doubtful Roy Hodgson will end his three-year exile.

Crouch said: "It was very hard for me at first when people didn't believe I was an England player.

"That was one of the lowest times I have felt.

"My goals record is good. Hopefully given the opportunity again, I will continue to score."
