Stoke City striker Peter Crouch admits England is back on the agenda.

Fabio Capello's resignation has given Crouch fresh hope.

He said: "I have hope again. With a new manager coming in, anyone who wasn't getting in has now got a clean slate.

"I felt that I wasn't getting the ­chances under [former England manager] Fabio Capello for whatever reason, as a few others were. But certainly with a new manager in place I feel revitalised and hopefully I can do well for Stoke and force my way in."
