Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has been handed a driving ban.

The Mirror reports Crouch has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding twice on the same stretch of road.

The Stoke City star was clocked doing 69mph in his £70,000 Range Rover in a 40mph zone on the M42/M6 toll road in March.

Crouch, 31, was caught again just six weeks later driving at 70mph on the same road in Curdworth, Warwickshire.

The former Liverpool and Spurs player, who dates model Abbey Clancy, admitted speeding and failing to tell police who was driving his car.
