Stoke City attacker Peter Crouch insists that he can still continue performing at the highest level.
Peter Crouch has been a crucial member of the Stoke City squad since joining the club back in 2011 and the towering striker enjoyed another productive campaign this term, ending the season as the Potters' highest scorer with 10 goals in all competitions.
At 36, many feel that Crouch could be nearing the end of his career despite his strong showings, but the veteran has insisted that he is still capable of performing at the top level for years to come.
The ex-England international told the Stoke Sentinel: "I'm sure if you ask the manager, any of the coaching staff, or any of the players, I'm sure they would tell you the exact opposite and they have to kick me off the training pitch.
"I don't think I've missed a session this season. I've seen older players like Sol Campbell, for instance, get a massage all week until the Friday and then come out and play.
"But I train every single day the same as the young lads in the squad and when I stop doing that I think I will lose something because training is important to me and I know I can still play at this level and train every day."
