Stoke City striker Bojan Krkic was on the mark in Mainz's 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich yesterday.

The Catalan's goal helped him join an elite group of attackers, making him only the seventh footballer to score in Europe's four big competitions (Spain, Italy, England, Germany).

Bojan: "I am super happy to have finally scored in the Bundesliga. This makes me proud."

His coach Martin Schmidt is delighted with Bojan's recent form.

He enthused: "Bojan is a player for these stadiums, these places."

The striker's deal with Mainz is for a straight loan, without a permanent option.
