Stoke City's former Southampton striker James Beattie is aiming to put one over Portsmouth this weekend.

Beattie smiled: "Obviously being at Southampton for a few years I've got a bit of history with Portsmouth and their fans adored me - so that's good!

"But I've got a good goalscoring record against Portsmouth.

"I always do quite well against them so hopefully that will continue and we'll get three points, which is obviously the main aim."
