Stoke City striker James Beattie priced himself out of a deadline day transfer to Fulham.
The Sun says Beattie's £2.5million move to Fulham collapsed after he demanded a staggering £45,000 a week.
The Stoke striker even had a medical before boss Roy Hodgson pulled the plug.
