Stoke City will go after Rennes striker Mevlut Erdinc after scouting him on the weekend.
Mark Hughes sent scouts to watch the 26-year Turkey international against Nice on Saturday and the Daily Mail now suggests they will make a £5million bid for his services.
It is believed that Rennes are looking to offload the former Paris Saint-Germain forward and the Potters are likely to be the beneficiary.
