Xherdan Shaqiri has made it clear that he plans to leave Stoke City.
The Swiss playmaker surprisingly joined the Potters from Inter Milan last summer and is enjoying his time in Staffordshire.
However, the love affair with Stoke won't last forever as the former FC Basel and Bayern Munich man still harbours Champions League ambitions.
"At 25, it would be silly to say that I want to end my career at Stoke," said Shaqiri.
"At the moment I feel very comfortable. I have scored three goals as many as in the whole of last season.
"Stoke: super coach, super team, ninth in the Premier League. But of course I want to play Champions League again in the near future."
