Stoke star Bojan on road to recovery

Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic says he is well on the road to recovery from his long term knee injury.

Bojan had undoubtedly been one of the stars for Stoke during the first half of last season but his campaign was curtailed following a serious knee ligament injury sustained during Stoke's FA Cup win at Rochdale in January.

Now the Spaniard has given an update regarding his recovery process and has stated that if things go well, he could return in time to join up with his teammates for pre-season.

"I feel good at the moment," he told the Stoke Sentinel. "The physio sessions are going well and I'm working really hard. I want to come back soon and come back better than before.

"We'll have a better idea over the next few weeks how long it will be before I will be able to return to proper training or join in pre-season training.

"I want to come back in pre-season for sure and hopefully be ready as soon as possible. The work will not stop for me over the summer. I have to work every day and that's what I will do."
