Stoke City have extended and expanded their partnership with parcel delivery firm DPD, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
The club and the company have signed a new two-year deal, with DPD becoming the official logistics partner and a platinum sponsor of the Potters.
Financial terms of the agreement have not been released but a Stoke press release said DPD have 'doubled their investment' to add sponsorship of a stand at the Britannia Stadium to their existing ties with the club.
Stoke and DPD have worked together for a number of years, and the new deal follows the opening of a new DPD distribution centre in Stoke, which was officially opened earlier this year by Potters striker Peter Odemwingie.
"We're delighted that DPD have chosen to extend and significantly develop their association with the club," said City chief executive Tony Scholes.
"We have worked closely with them over the last couple of years and I know from talking to Dwain he feels that our partnership and the exposure this gives them has enabled DPD to deliver their aims and objectives."
