Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross says Sunderland kicks off a big month for the Potters.

The Potters are back in Europa League action against Valencia and face an FA Cup tie at Crawley.

Shawcross said: "This is shaping up to be the biggest few weeks of our season. The objective is to get those league points on the board as quick as we can and we have the cup and European games. We know the rewards if we win those."
