Despite dropping into the bottom three, Stoke City captain Andy Griffin insists there's no comparison with last season's Derby County.
Former Rams defender Griffin told The Sentinel: "We obviously find ourselves at the wrong end of the table, but we must also remember we have only played four games.
"I think we should have got a point from each of the last two games against Middlesbrough and Everton, but we know it's a thin line between success and failure at this level.
"Of course we were disappointed after the Everton game, but looking at our start so far I would say we have adapted to the Premier League and I think we can be quite satisfied in our performances - we just need to pick up more points.
"At Derby, when a goal went in there never seemed to be any belief we could get back into the game. But here we have the character in depth, the resilience and the desire. That has been quite evident in the games we have played so far.
"At 2-0 down against Everton certain teams would have crumbled. We were 2-0 at half-time at home against Scunthorpe last season and won 3-2. It looked as though we could do that again and we must always have that kind of belief, not capitulate as soon as a goal goes in.
"I know we find ourselves at the wrong end of the table, but everyone is still positive and buzzing... and rightly so."
