Stoke City defender Jonathan Woodgate is delighted to be fit and playing again.
Woodgate joined the Potters having not played a full 90 minutes since featuring in Tottenham's 9-1 win over Wigan in November 2009.
The defender, 31, said: "All I want to do is play football. You miss the banter.
"I really missed it when I was in Australia and New York getting treatment. I was getting up at 4am to watch the Premier League.
"You're in a hotel but not feeling part of football. It felt like I imagine it will feel when I hang my boots up."
