Former Wolves winger Michael Kightly is determined to prove a success at Stoke City.

Kightly is determined to become just as big a favourite with Stokies as he was with the Molineux faithful.

"I want people to make their own opinion of me," he said, "but I like to score goals and create them, and hopefully I can do both of those.

"At Wolves I was a fans' favourite, and hopefully I can make the Stoke fans like me and the way I play too.

"I always give 110 per cent week-in, week-out and will hopefully chip in with a few goals, a few assists and some exciting play too, so I'm sure the Stoke fans will grow to like me as well."
