Former Hull City fullback Josh Tymon is delighted with his move to Stoke City.

The 18-year-old England under-20s left-back has joined from Hull on a five-year deal and a transfer fee that will probably be set by tribunal.

"I am really happy to be a Stoke City player and am really excited about getting started here," he said in an interview for Stoke's website.

"As soon as this opportunity presented itself to me, I knew it was one that I wasn't going to be able to turn down.

"There was interest from other clubs but Stoke have put a really good plan together for me and showed tremendous faith in me. As soon as I spoke to the people here then my mind was made up."
