John Guidetti is eager to get started at Stoke City.
The on-loan Manchester City striker saw action in defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
"(The manager) says I can give him options, like playing in a two up front with (Peter) Crouch.
"I had quite a few choices, but I felt that I got very good contact with him. We had a good talk.
"They've chased me for a long time and he knew exactly how I played. It felt good. It will be fine here.
"The game was not too fast paced at all (for my first game back). It felt good. I am just happy to be playing football again."
