Stoke City are set to step up their pursuit of West Ham United striker Carlton Cole by making an improved bid.
The Potters previously had an £8million offer rejected by the Hammers but are believed to be poised to come back with a bid of £10million.
It is reported that West Ham will consider the deal but the chance of anything going through is unlikely as Cole is keen to stay in London.
