Stoke to sell fringe players says Pulis

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has confirmed he will look to sell some of his fringe players this winter.

The Potters are looking to strengthen in January and the likes of Michael Tonge, Tom Soares and loanees Danny Pugh and Danny Collins could be shipped out to make room for a couple of new signings.

"We want to keep all our top players. The ones we are talking about selling are the ones just below that group," Pulis said.

"They have been banging on my door (about a move) and we will do our damndest to help them."
