Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson has received a three-match ban from the Football Association.
The 28-year old right-back was charged with violent conduct for his alleged elbow on Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli in the Potters' 1-1 draw with the champions last weekend.
Video footage showed that Wilkinson clearly raised his arm to Balotelli's head and he has now been found guilty with the FA issuing a three-game suspension.
