Walters injured his cheekbone while playing for the Potters against West Bromwich Albion in ther 1-0 loss at The Hawthorns and manager Mark Hughes had revealed after the game that the 31-year old would be out 'for a number of weeks'.

Stoke are still awaiting the surgeon's report to determine exactly how long Walters will be ruled out but the Irishman took to Twitter to update fans about the surgery while also taking a cheeky dig at good mate Robert Huth. Walters has been a key member for Hughes' side this season, making 27 appearances with 10 goals and three assists to his name.
