Stoke City striker Jon Walters is likely to replace LA Galaxy star Robbie Keane in the Republic of Ireland line-up tomorrow night.
Giovanni Trapattoni's side host Germany in Dublin in World Cup qualifying with Walters set to lead the attacking line following captain Keane's withdrawal from the squad with an Achilles injury.
Walters, who is expected to play ahead of West Bromwich Albion's Shane Long, will have assistance from Nottingham Forest's Simon Cox and Spartak Moscow's Aiden McGeady who will play out wide as Ireland look to add to their opening match victory over Kazakhstan in early September.
