Dynamo Kyiv boss Sergei Rebrov is advising Andriy Yarmolenko against a move to Premier League side Stoke City.
Stoke are currently in the market to make a marquee signing and recently, manager Mark Hughes had admitted that he had identified Ukrainian star Yarmolenko as his main target.
However, Yarmolenko's manager at Kyiv is advising the midfielder against a move to the Britannia Stadium and has urged him to join a club playing in the Champions League instead.
Rebrov was quoted saying: "I know nothing about this (Stoke's) proposal, but I told him that if he goes, it should be to a team that is fighting for the Champions League.
