Stoke's Pulis unhappy at reports of supposed dressing room bust-up

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is unhappy that another supposed dressing room bust-up has been made public.

At half-time of the 7-0 loss at Chelsea, reports suggested that Potters players Abdoulaye Faye and Glenn Whelan clashed but Pulis said whatever happened inside his club's dressing room should stay there.

"I maintain that what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room," Pulis told City's official website.

"Glenn Whelan and Abdoulaye Faye are disappointed that again the confines of our sanctuary have been breached.

"The lads have also expressed their own disappointment, but understand that there are obviously one or two people who, for their own reasons, feel it necessary to leak out this information.

"Irrespective of these individuals, we are desperate to get back on the pitch and put in a performance that truly shows our achievements this season in the right light."

This follows the angry confrontation between Pulis and striker James Beattie after the 2-0 loss to Arsenal in December.
