Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant insists he is not about to quit the club.
The 28-year old has found himself sat on the bench in recent weeks but returned to the starting line-up for the 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic on Saturday and is now determined to stay in Tony Pulis' XI after being linked with a January departure.
"Every footballer wants to start games, but the manager has had a winning team and he's stuck to that.
"But he brought me in for Wigan and I take that with both hands. It was a great game against Wigan, but all Premier League games are great to be involved in.""I have a contract and I will abide by it. I have a year-and-a-half left and I will be here for another year-and-a-half," said Pennant.
