Stoke City defender Robert Huth suggests that Arsenal signing Lukas Podolski will have more of an impact on the Premier League than Chelsea new boy Marko Marin.

The German pair have already completed moves to the London clubs with their fellow countrymen rating Podolski’s chances of becoming a key Gunners player higher than the likelihood of Marin becoming an instant Blues hero.

"It's a big transfer for Marin! To join such a big club. It will be hard for him to make the first team. Lukas has almost 100 caps, right?" Huth told Goal.com.

"He will do a little better than Marin because of his experience. But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong and it will be the other way around and Lukas will be the one having problems.

"Lukas is more athletic, faster and stronger. When you look at Lukas, he is built for the Premier League. You have to wait and see how he copes with everything.

"He was valued at £12 million, that is a lot of pressure to deal with. Marin wasn't cheap, too, and there weren't many people who were expecting this transfer.

"But I wish good luck to both of them. It's nice to have some more Germans in England after [Michael] Ballack and Jens [Lehmann] have left."
