Stoke's Huth impressed with new Chelsea boss Villas-Boas

Stoke defender Robert Huth played under new Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas when he was assistant boss to Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. And while Huth is hoping to spoil the Portuguese coach's debut when the two club's meet on the first day of the season, he expects the 33-year-old to be a success in west London.

"I spent a little bit of time under Mourinho at Chelsea when Andre was his assistant," he told stokecityfc.com. "He was a very impressive and organised individual, he had everything in his head and would always talk to us and prepare us for games.

"He is extremely young but that does not mean anything because he has shown his credentials at Porto and now he has been given the chance to do something similar at Chelsea.

"I think he has all the qualities to be a success there, just like he was at Porto, but hopefully things don't start off so well for him when they come here in August."
