Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross is set to be handed a bumper pay-rise.
The People says Shawcross will be handed a pay hike this summer as reward for his loyalty to Stoke.
Shawcross, 22, was a kid at Manchester United, who are now leading the chase to buy him back.
But with two years left on his current deal, Stoke chairman Peter Coates wants to tie down his £10million-rated defender.
