Stoke City are still in talks with Birmingham City for Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome.
The Daily Mail says Potters manager Tony Pulis remains hopeful of a £12m deal for Birmingham's Dann and Jerome but Stoke are falling short on personal terms.
Stoke chairman Peter Coates confirmed negotiations were continuing over the Blues pair.
The capture of Dann would be a great coup for Stoke, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea also linked with the ex-Walsall stopper.
