Stoke remain confident of agreement for Houston Dynamo defender Cameron

Stoke City remain confident of signing Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron.

Sources close to the club say they remain confident of eventually landing their man, says The Sentinel.

Cameron and his club are also keen on the move, but it is the MLS which sets transfer fees in America.

Houston team president Chris Canetti said. "We had a positive weekend where there were good discussions and both sides kind of understood what it's going to take to make a deal happen.

"Today we will share proposals and see if we can get closer to a deal."
