Stoke City pair Glenn Whelan and Abdoulaye Faye will be auditioning tonight for a move to FA Cup opponents Wolves.
The The Sentinel says Wolves boss Mick McCarthy said he does not foresee any more business before Monday's deadline - but the Wolves boss stopped short of ruling out a late move for two players he has already inquired about.
McCarthy has just missed out on signing Jonathan Woodgate on loan from Tottenham, while Stoke remain keen to do business with both Whelan and Faye.
They would want around £2m for Whelan, but Faye could be released on a free with only five months left on his contract.
