Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson is set to be offered new terms.
The Sentinel says the 29-year-old defender, who is out of contract in the summer, has only started two Premier League games since Mark Hughes took charge last May.
But the club see the Yarnfield-born Academy product as a vital part of the club's fabric after clocking up 189 first-team games since his debut in October 2001.
Tying him to a new contract will also entitle them to ask for a fee should Wilkinson move in the near future.
