Stoke City assistant manager Mark Bowen says they're delighted with their loan deal for Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi.

Bowen says manager Mark Hughes is pleased to get Assaidi's signing wrapped up.

Bowen said: "We've done our homework on it and he is a player that Brendan Rodgers thinks highly of. He's very pacey and very direct.

"He likes getting at players and committing them. Mark likes that and we'll be delighted to have him."
