Stoke City No2 Mark Bowen says they're shopping for a new centre-half.

Bowen admits they're short of defensive options.

“From what I'm aware of," said Bowen to The Sentinel, “the club is trying to pursue options in that direction, but I can't give you any names because any players we are maybe looking at are attached to other clubs.

“Obviously we are a bit light in that area and it's an on-going pursuit to try and strengthen the squad and strengthen the starting 11."
