Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is ready for the challenge of any new keeper signing this summer.

"I don't know if there will be a new goalkeeper or not, that is a decision for the manager," Sorensen told The Sentinel. "But you should always look over your shoulder and should always be looking to improve yourself.

"It is nothing I am scared of because if someone comes in, it will be just another challenge.

"Whether new people are coming in or not, you put pressure on yourself to improve anyway. You have to earn the right to play in every game and in every training session."
