Stoke City recruit Marc Muniesa admits he is surprised to have joined a Premier League club.
The 21-year old Spanish defender has joined the Potters from Barcelona and is now looking forward to putting his best foot forward with his new club.
"I never imagined I would get the chance to play in the Premier League, but when Stoke called me I decided to come here with my family to speak to them," he told the club's official website.
"All the people I've spoken have shown a lot of confidence in me and I'm really happy that everything has been sorted.
"I'm very happy to be here and to sign for this club. I'm very excited about playing in the Premier League with Stoke City."
