The People says Pulis will push on with a double-bid for Wilson Palacios and Crouch.
QPR are also interested in the Spurs and England striker, and boss Harry Redknapp would like to use him as bait as he tries to sign Fulham's Bobby Zamora.
But Cottagers manager Martin Jol said this week that he has no intention of letting Zamora leave Craven Cottage.
