The Daily Mail reports that Stoke will try to sign Tottenham's Wayne Routledge on loan in January.

The Spurs winger has been suffering from a knee problem, and has made just two appearances this term.

Routledge spent a spell with Fulham last season, and Stoke hope a promise of first team football will tempt him away for three months.
