Stoke City are moving for released Tottenham defender Jonathan Woodgate.
The Daily Mail says Stoke manager Tony Pulis is ready to throw Woodgate a Premier League lifeline.
The 31-year-old defender is in talks with the Potters over a potential pay-as-you-play deal at the Britannia Stadium.
Woodgate is on the look out for a new club after being released by Spurs at the end of last season.
The injury-plagued defender has managed to play just four games in two years, which is why Pulis is keen on an appearance based deal.
