FC Dallas winger Brek Shea is set to join Stoke City this week according to a report on Soccer By Ives.
The Texan club earlier released a statement saying the 22-year old was heading to Europe but did not specify to which club or in what capacity.
It has since emerged that Shea will undergo a medical with the Potters on Tuesday ahead of a move which will net the MLS club a fee of as much as £2.5million ($USD4m).
The on again-off again transfer has been on the cards for much of January and it is believed that Stoke and Dallas have finally come to an agreement for the 15-times capped USA international.
