Stoke City are hoping to lure Arsenal's Theo Walcott to the Britannia Stadium on loan.

The 18-year-old England international has been linked with a temporary move away from the Emirates Stadium having started just nine Premier League games since his big-money move from Southampton in 2006.

Potters chairman Peter Coates told BBC Radio Stoke: "We will enquire but I guess he'll want to stay in the Premier League."
