Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is showing significant interest in Arsenal's Joel Campbell.
The 21-year old Costa Rican forward spent the 2013/14 season on loan with Greek side Olympiakos and could again be loaned out next term as he continues his development.
Potters manager Hughes is keen on Campbell, who has had previous loan spells with Lorient and Real Betis, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is sure to run the rule over him in pre-season to see if he has developed into a first team player.
While with Olympiakos, Campbell scored 11 goals in all competitions including a stunning strike against Manchester United in the Champions League in February.
