Stoke City midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri is adamant his calf problems won't be long-term.
The Swiss struck a wonder goal in victory over Hull City on Saturday.
"You have to appreciate I also played at the Euros and didn't have a lot of holiday," said the 25-year-old, who now has a tailored training programme.
"It's always difficult for a player when you have injuries and I've never had calf problems before so it was difficult for me. But in the end I'm happy to be back and I'm looking forward to playing more games. When you're not on the pitch, when you can't smell the grass you're unhappy.
"The injuries are now in the past. I think this summer we will have more holidays as there is no Euros, no World Cup so we can rest and then come back.
"When I have played, you can look up the statistics, I've always done something."
