Stoke City midfielder Jamie Ness is enjoying his football at Crewe Alexandra.

Ness has extended his loan move to the Alex until the end of the season after impressing boss Steve Davis.

"I'm pleased it's all done," said the Scot to The Sentinel.

"It was just a case of getting all parties to agree and getting the paper work done and now I'm looking forward to the next few months of the season."

He added: "I'm really enjoying my football now for the first time in a long time.

"I feel like I'm getting that momentum back and starting to produce performances I know I'm capable of, so hopefully I'll be able to keep that going and the team will be able to keep getting results."
