Stoke City midfielder Jamie Ness is determined to prove his quality on-loan with Crewe Alexandra.
Ness made his debut on Saturday against Barnsley just two days after joining Crewe.
He told The Sentinel: "I have had a good pre-season this year and was involved in some of the first-team games with Stoke and played full 90 minutes so I am feeling fit and after three or four games I will be right up to speed.
"The most important thing for me is to get games after two or three years in the wilderness so hopefully I can start to get my name back out there."
