Stoke City midfielder Darren Fletcher admits they weren't good enough for defeat to Chelsea.

Chelsea thumped Stoke 4-0 at the Brit with Alvaro Morata scoring a hat-trick.

“We made individual mistakes that resulted in us being punished on goals," Fletcher reflected ruefully, “and if we have got it back to 2-1, we could have made a right game of it.

“But we got an injury (to Bruno Martins Indi), went a bit gung-ho and they got another couple of goals. It's a disappointing scoreline and we have to take our medicine and pick ourselves up."
