Stoke City youngster Jordan Richardson struck the winner against Southampton U21s this week.

It was Richardson's first goal at U21 level after being top scorer for the Under-18s from midfield last season.

Stoke coach Dave Kevan told the club's website: "No doubt we'll be hearing about that from Jordan!

"He's capable of that, to be fair, and it was good to see him get on the scoresheet today.

"It's about getting him in the areas that will allow him to do that. He's been a little bit frustrated with his own form, and he'll be the first to admit that. The goal will do him the world of good."
